A busy term for pupils at TreeHouse School

It’s been a busy term at TreeHouse School. In October, pupils explored the topic of ‘making relationships’ in their PSHE lessons. They all enjoyed concluding this topic through an interactive assembly focusing on friendships.

During Black History Month, pupils explored the art of African American artist Mickalene Thomas, celebrating iconic black females from history and today. They created stunning collages adorned with glitter, mirroring Mickalene’s rhinestone style.

Secondary pupils had a great time at the Cartoon Museum. They learnt the art of cartooning in a ‘this is us’ workshop, which was all about fun, creativity and lots of drawings.

In November, Turtle class learnt about Diwali and the festival of light. They made salt dough candle holders and had a great time painting and decorating them.
